Driven by a passion for modern design and a desire to explore different materials, he founded the brand in 2008. From its studio in Bali, Ong Cen Kuang designs and handcrafts each lighting fixture, blending tradition and innovation. Trained at Gray’s School of Art in Scotland, Budiman combines his Asian heritage and Western education to create unique, refined designs. BALÉNATURAL is a creative home decor and candle brand specializing in hand-poured coconut-scented candles and natural aromatics. Committed to offering sustainable home products, they use biodegradable and recycled materials to minimize waste. Their packaging is made from recycled materials, and all processes are done in-house to reduce their carbon footprint. 9. SUNGAI DESIGN

Sungai Design, in collaboration with their non-profit organization 'Sungai Watch', creates innovative furniture from plastic waste collected in Bali's rivers. Their debut product, the Ombak lounge chair, is crafted from approximately 2,000 plastic bags salvaged from waterways. This process involves washing, shredding, and heat-pressing the plastic into durable sheets, which are then cut and assembled using CNC technology. The result is a stylish and functional piece of furniture that highlights the potential of upcycling and supports sustainable practices. Sungai Design's efforts not only help mitigate river pollution but also raise awareness about the importance of recycling and sustainability.

Jia translates to "home" in Chinese, while OCK represents its sister company, Ong Cen Kuang. Established in 2021, Jia by OCK is a Bali-based home accessories brand dedicated to offering a collective retail experience and styling service centered on craft, design, and culture. Co-founders Budiman Ong, Rudi Winata, and Yang Yang Hartono are driven by the priority of creating a vibrant ecosystem of creative communities in Indonesia, leading them to establish a platform for the exchange of instinctual energy and passion.
