The Selection Process

A transparent approach

The Punch Awards are open to both nominations and self-nominations, across places, brands, projects, and people. Each submission is considered for its ability to demonstrate innovation, transparency, and measurable impact in how it operates over time.

Following the nomination phase, a first selection is established through a combination of public input and internal review. From this, three nominees are defined within each category — representing those that stand out at the highest level. Finalists are then determined through public voting, allowing the wider community to take part in the recognition, while maintaining a clear and consistent standard throughout the process.
