“We do not use any processed or packaged food, instead we make all our own condiments and healing fermented foods that are rich in probiotics, boosting the immune system and gut micro biome health. We make our own healthy deserts that are sugar free, gluten free and dairy free. We do not support non sustainable farming techniques that harm the earth by not using palm oil, refined cane sugar, wheat flour and MSG. We cook with quality stainless steel pots and use no aluminium kitchen ware or microwaves in our kitchen."

"We tread lightly on the earth to have as low of an environmental footprint as possible. Vida is set within a traditional Balinese living compound with an outdoor garden which gives customers a taste of Balinese culture and encourages them to reconnect with nature. We recycle the water of our fish pond for our garden and plants."
"We serve fresh Balian mineral water, bottled at source, from recycled glass bottles and make our own botanical healing drinks. We don’t use any plastic bottles for beverages. We use stainless steel drinking straws and our cloth napkins are washed onsite to use less water with natural detergents. Our drinking glasses and table lights are made from recycled bottles, supporting a local homeless women and children’s charity in Denpasar who make them for us. We offer eco friendly takeaway containers and cutlery that is recyclable and biodegradable.
We do our best to minimize waste in the kitchen, separating all organic matter and giving it back to the local farmers to use as compost in their farms. We educate our staff, customers and suppliers about not using plastics in our venue as well as around Bali and to be aware to minimize their impact on the environment."
"When designing and making the building, we used upcycled items, including all the furniture, bar counter, lighting installations. We currently use energy efficient LED lighting throughout the venue."
