Shelter Pererenan is a contemporary restaurant where authenticity meets artistry. Inspired by the vibrant and intense flavours of the Middle East and the Mediterranean. The venue was built with natural elements, sourcing sustainable produce and partnering with local suppliers to provide a unique dining experience.

Shelter constructed out of natural elements such as stone, wood and ceramic. Local and native plants are used in the garden and the architecture honours the Indonesian culture (traditional Javanese Joglo style).
Using sustainable seafood from Bali Sustainable Seafood. The meat is organic (Beef from responsible farmer Stanbroke in New South Wales).
Partnering with local suppliers such as Puri Tomatoes Bedugul to help empower local producers and cut carbon footprint.
Hiring a predominantly Indonesian staff. By opening the venue, Shelter provided a pathway to prosperity and career development for local hospitality staff.
No plastics – using glass bottled water and no plastic straws.
