Armed with a coffee machine and panini press, Suka Espresso Uluwatu opened in a humble warung in Dec 2016. Since then, Suka has evolved into a vibrant cafe with a love for coffee, wholesome fresh food and good vibes. Suka Espresso Ubud opened in May 2019 and has since established itself as one of the goto cafes in the ever growing coffee scene in Ubud. Suka’s Ubud location is also home to a coffee roastery that roasts fresh coffee for all By/Suka venues.
Whilst best known for its coffee and Australian style brunch, Suka Uluwatu & Ubud also serve up modern western lunch and dinner fare with signature cocktails.Â

Suka Espresso Uluwatu & Ubud are committed to minimising their environmental footprint. This is achieved through sustainable takeaway packaging, sorting of organic and recyclable waste and partnering with credible waste management companies. Where possible, local suppliers are actively sought to minimise carbon footprint and provide benefit to the local economy.Â
Suka employs all local staff and has created a culture of inclusiveness and growth. Regular training is provided and career growth opportunities are continually presented as the By/Suka group grows.
As both locations get very busy during the first shift , founders noticed that some of their staff didn’t have time to have their breakfast. So they have been providing breakfast delivered to the venue early morning to make sure all their staff has eaten before the breakfast peak hours. The team also receives 2% bonus when they achieve breaking point sale.
Suka Uluwatu works with Urban Compost to sort out their organic and non organic waste and they are still trying to find a similar company in Ubud.
