Without any signage, guests will notice our huts under the Pura Dalem trees, opposite the local temple, facing a sprawling view of the Indian ocean. ‘Warung’ in Indonesia means small retail, eatery, or café typically family- owned.
The story of a local fisherman, a local Ibu (mother), and a local surfer banding together through a local beach Warung, bringing good people together for good times. This collaboration is a return to the roots, a rendition of simpler times. Guests can just come and spend their day however they want to because the time is slow here.
"As we are committed to keeping the collaboration with the community, we ensure taking actions toward the people, the neighborhood, and the environment. Providing a space for the surf community to gather and hang out, also a space for keeping their board by signing up for monthly membership and keeping the river and the beach clean. We aim to give people a comfortable and safe environment, supporting local Warung next door by providing extended service, and participating in keeping the temple sacred."
