We are the only clothing factory in Bali that is ethically certified SA8000:2014 and audited by the leading social & ethical compliance program. Any member of staff that has held their position for 12 months are invited to our superannuation, health care & life insurance program. We have partnered with one of the best firms available in Indonesia - www.prudential.com.
Once a member private hospital cover becomes standard, a mutual investment fund accrues for superannuation and comprehensive life insurance; this insurance cost is subsidised by Yogi & Boo. We have yet to discover another clothing factory in Bali to provide this for their workers; however, we hope for many more to come. This insurance is on top of the government mandatory workers cover that provides health insurance to each staff member and their families.
We provide two weeks full pay leave and infinite full pay sick leave. If you're sick, it's the worst time not to have a pay slip come in. Three months of fully paid maternity leave is also standard. We offer no-interest small loan financing to all our staff to help them reach their goals & dreams. We provide a profit-sharing scheme to all our staff, 5% of profits are distributed yearly, which is on top of the New Year's bonus and their holiday bonus of double pay.
We only work 40-hour weeks, 8 am – 5 pm Monday through to Friday. Any overtime attracts Labour Law-approved loading pay. We provide Western-standard workplace health & safety conditions and we have zero tolerance to any bullying, anti-social or abusive behaviour.
We are ISO14000 Environmental certified. 80% of our lighting is natural daylight complimented with Daylight L.E.D.s. We are the only factory in Bali with a fully air-conditioned production floor and we've been rated as one of the cleanest clothing factories as we have 3 full-time cleaners ensuring a world-class standard of cleanliness.
Our industrial Reverse Osmosis filter provides clean, filtered drinking water and we provide clean western standard toilets.
We are the only clothing factory in Bali with its own in-house digital printing system. We are the only print house in Bali that does not use or produce any wastewater – our printing system is a dry process with no runoff/effluent. Since switching to all digital printing in 2020, we're saving over 4.500.000 litres of water a year. 1 meter of conventionally printed fabric uses 40-60 liters. Our digital printing inks are ALL Eco-Passport certified by Oeko-Tex.
We are a significant contributor to R.O.L.E. foundation, where we sponsor the education of 5 marginalised women each month to better equip them with skill & break the poverty cycle. Since Feb 2018 through to Jan 2023, we've donated over USD35,000 and counting. We are the only clothing factory ISO14001:2015 certified for Environmental management.
Throughout the 2020-2021 pandemic, we donated over USD30,000 to our local "Banjar" (community centre) and local charities such as S.O.L.E.M.E.N. in the form of food drops & monetary assistance.
90% of our fabric off-cuts is donated to local businesses that weave it into door mats, creating jobs for stay-at-home mums & recycling otherwise landfill waste. She repays us for buying our staff cold sodas when she makes her pick-up every month. We regularly donate to several charities and local relief efforts. We are also the most significant contributor to our local Balinese community/Banjar, which hosts youth programs & local events.
We believe that when you invest in the people around you and foster family-orientated values within a company, the intrinsic values we get in return far outweigh the financial costs.
